David brings his smile to whatever he was doing in Honduras.
I like to help people and washing the dirty feet and giving them new shoes and socks is one of my favorite activities .
I love to come to Honduras because I love the people there.
" and I especially like to have fun playing with the kids.
I liked it when we walked in the town of LaPaz and went shopping.
I pretty much like everything we do in Honduras"

. . . . as for me thinking back I find a renewal in mother- hood....unconditional love,guiding,supporting....and a drive in me to be and to give more so that i will inspire the children to do the same.....Just as Jesus did for us....

Sara and Cory: "Never have we met such a wonderful and loving group of children than those at the Children of Love Foundation. We spent most of our time with Denia, Genesis (pronounced Hennessy), Oneyda, Karen, and Alejandra. This little gaggle of girls had the biggest hearts, and were a constant source of joy during our time in La Paz. They reminded us how all of us start off in this world, innocent and full of joy. One thing that will stick with us is how quickly they bonded with us and how fast they integrated us into their family. In most places, it's a multi-year process to integrate into a family, but there, we were family within a day. We'll miss these girls and all the rest of the kids until we see them again. May God keep them under his wing, and keep them from harm."

My visit to Honduras was a Life Changer.
I learned so much from this trip from our visit to Children of Love.
I cannot stop thinking about their willingness to make us happy and the daily hugs and "I love You's"
that we received.
that we received.
We are all so blessed to have been able to spend time with them and I can't wait for my next visit. I will continue to pray for them every day and look forward to the day that I can see them again.

Each child has individual needs. Each of us May be able to help satisfy some of them but not all of them.
Even tho someone has heard about Jesus, it doesn't mean he or she has accepted Him. We need to reach out and not be afraid to talk about our belief.
I now have a family in Honduras, also.

Spending time with the kids at the Children of Love Foundation always warms my
heart & I pray God protect them everyday.
I am thankful we were able to provide shoes & socks to those in need while sharing the good news of Jesus.
The trip was filled with joy and love then sadness when it was time to leave.

I have been privileged to participate in many mission trips, but my time in Honduras has been a most challenging and gratifying experience. The work of the Children of Love Foundation has so many facets and the needs are great but I see in each activity the #1 Priority is that they are doing all in the name of Jesus.
I was especially amazed at the love shown by the children, when you hear a bit of the circumstance from which they were rescued and the healing that transpires during their time at Children of Love foundation.
I was humbled by the great dedication that all the staff members have for the children and their development physically, educationally, emotionally but especially spiritually.
Finally, I was so grateful for all the team members. We were a diverse group in many ways, newbies to veterans on mission trips, quiet and introspective to loud and loquacious and everything in between. It reminded me of the disciples - all kinds of personalities but all useful and usable to God, if we follow His leading. I believe this group was awesome and my great pleasure to serve the children in La Paz with them.
